Quality Assurance Policy

The foreign-language undergraduate study program (FLUSP) BSc in Information Technology of the Department of Informatics and Telematics at Harokopio University has been designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in the rapidly evolving field of Information Technology. To achieve its objectives, the Department is committed to implementing a quality assurance policy for the FLUSP, which is monitored, assessed, and evaluated through performance indicators and through the University’s Internal Quality Assurance System. Strategic Objectives

The strategic objectives of the program’s quality assurance policy, as reflected in the Department’s quality targets and further specified for the program, are the following:

01 · Consolidation of the FLUSP

Promote and strengthen the visibility and recognition of the program, responding effectively to the needs of students and the Department, and contributing to the internationalization of the School and the University.

02 · Evaluation & Monitoring of Quality

Continuous evaluation and monitoring of the quality and performance of the study program through feedback from students and teaching staff, with emphasis on maintaining the quality of infrastructure and services.

03 · Enhancement of Core Academic Activities

Ensuring an open and participatory academic environment, creating a supportive environment for newly admitted international students, and fostering students’ soft skills through integration into the student community.

04 · Internationalization of Academic Staff

Promoting collaborations with international academic institutions, creating a competitive environment for attracting faculty from abroad, and strengthening participation in mobility programs for research and education.

Annual Evaluation

The Department is committed to conducting annual reviews and internal audits through the procedures of the Internal Quality Assurance System of Harokopio University. This process is carried out in collaboration with the Internal Evaluation Group (OMEA) and the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) of the Institution, ensuring systematic monitoring and evaluation of all educational and administrative procedures. Through this annual evaluation, the Department identifies areas for improvement and implements actions to enhance the quality of education provided, ensuring the study program meets the highest academic standards and responds to the needs of students and society.
