Aristotelis Ballas completed his Ph.D. degree in Machine and Deep Learning from the Department of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio University of Athens in 2025 and received his diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical Univeristy of Athens, Greece in 2021. He is currently working as a Postdoctorate AI & ML researcher in several HORIZON Europe projects. His research interests focus on robust algorithms for representation learning, with an emphasis on out-of-distribution generalization and AI in healthcare.
Ο Αριστοτέλης Μπάλλας ολοκλήρωσε το διδακτορικό του στη Μηχανική και Βαθιά Μάθηση στο Τμήμα Πληροφορικής και Τηλεματικής του Χαροκοπείου Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών το 2025 και έλαβε το δίπλωμά του ως Ηλεκτρολόγος και Μηχανικός Υπολογιστών από το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο το 2021. Σήμερα εργάζεται ως μεταδιδακτορικός ερευνητής στην Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη και τη Μηχανική Μάθηση σε πολλαπλά έργα HORIZON Europe. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα επικεντρώνονται στην ανάπτυξη αλγορίθμων για την εκμάθηση εύρωστων αναπαραστάσεων, με έμφαση στη γενίκευση εκτός κατανομής και στη χρήση τεχνητής νοημοσύνης στην Υγεία.
