Angelos Charalambidis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopeion University of Athens. His research interests lie in programming languages - with a focus on declarative languages and their semantics - as well as knowledge representation and reasoning. He has participated in numerous European and national research projects.
He holds a PhD in Informatics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2014). Prior to joining Harokopeion University, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University, USA (2020--2021), and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, NCSR ``Demokritos'' (2014--2019).
Ο Άγγελος Χαραλαμπίδης είναι Επίκουρος Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Πληροφορικής και Τηλεματικής του Χαροκόπειου Πανεπιστήμιου. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στις γλώσσες προγραμματισμού - με έμφαση στις δηλωτικές γλώσσες και τη σημασιολογία τους - καθώς και στην αναπαράσταση γνώσης και τη συλλογιστική. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε πλήθος ευρωπαϊκών και εθνικών ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων.
Έχει διδακτορικό στην Πληροφορική από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (2014). Πριν την εκλογή του στο Χαροκόπειο Πανεπιστήμιο, υπήρξε Επισκέπτης Επίκουρος Καθηγητής στο Thomas Jefferson University των ΗΠΑ (2020--2021) και Μεταδιδακτορικός Ερευνητής στο Ινστιτούτο Πληροφορικής και Τηλεπικοινωνιών του ΕΚΕΦΕ «Δημόκριτος» (2014--2019).
